Taste of the Gables is the anticipated delicious kick-off event of the annual Coral Gables Restaurant Week, a month long promotion that gives foodies the opportunity to enjoy three-course lunch and dinner menus at a discounted price at participating Coral Gables restaurants.
Presented by Bacardi USA, the event took place at The Westin Colonnade Hotel in the heart of Coral Gables. Food connoisseurs sampled dishes from 20 of Coral Gables restaurants that included Uvaggio Wine Bar, The Local, OBB Sushi, Talavera Cocina Mexicana, Swine, Bulla Gastrobar, Sushi Maki, Divino Ceviche, Tarpon Bend, Bread + Butter, La Taberna Giralda, The Cafe at Books & Books, Red Koi, Cibo Wine Bar, Sushi Samba, BrickTop’s, Ikura Sushi, Morton’s Steakhouse, Anacapri, and Fritz & Franz. Also enjoyed were refreshing cocktails and live music as votes were cast for the best tasting dish.
When it was all said and done, Bulla Gastrobar walked away with the “Best Bite” trophy for their Salpicon de Mariscos. We must admit…it was pretty darn delicious but you must pay them a visit to try it out for yourself! Congrats Bulla!
