A Performance Reading by Avi Hoffman of Address Unknown – March 30th

Hosted by Next Generations, Actor & Jewish Culture Activist Avi Hoffman and adjunct professor of theatre at Florida Atlantic University, Lynn University, and Broward College, Bruce Linser will perform a reading of Address Unknown by Katherina Kressman Taylor, the story of a friendship between a San Francisco-based Jewish art dealer and his former business partner, who has returned to Germany as the Nazi Party comes to power. As these dear friends become ideological enemies, one commits a cowardly betrayal while the other plots an ingenious – and deadly – revenge. The play demonstrates how the seeds of prejudice take root in an atmosphere of hatred. This performance is part of Avi Hoffman’s 2017 Yiddishkayt Initiative programming which focuses on education, entertainment, tolerance, and Holocaust awareness.
