The Miami Design Preservation League, a non-profit organization has been assisting in preserving, protecting, and promoting the architectural, economical, and environmental integrity of Miami Beach’s historic background and culture. On January 16th – 18th, make your way to Miami Beach as The Miami Design Preservation League kicks off the 38th Annual Art Deco Weekend!
This amazing, fun-filled weekend getaway has been attracting visitors from abroad and locals since 1976 and will celebrate 100 years of history, architecture, and people!
The festival attracts over 250,000 people throughout the 3-days to Ocean Drive to exhibit Miami Beach’s beautiful Art Deco buildings that are seen in movies, TV shows, and sporting events. Closed down to traffic for the festival, Ocean Drive and Lummus Park will host over 140 vendors displaying vintage and handmade paintings, photography, jewelry, sculptures, posters, and more. Additionally, Ocean Drive will be filled with live street entertainment, classic car shows, a classic car parade, guided tours, restaurants serving their best dishes, and a lecture series sponsored by CD Property. Art Deco Weekend is also thrilled to present the 5th Annual Art Deco Weekend Fashion Show!
