The Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami (MOCA) presents Faces of Freedom – February 7th thru March 5th

The Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami (MOCA) will progress through its winter season with the presentation of Faces of Freedom by Haitian-born artist Jean-Claude Legagneur. Curated by Jorge Luis Gutierrez, the exhibition will be on display from February 7th to March 5th 2017.

Admission to MOCA is $5, and it is free to MOCA members and North Miami residents. Open Tuesday – Friday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday 1 – 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Rojas + Rubensteen Projects presents “I Am Here” Exhibition – February 17th thru March 26th

Rojas + Rubensteen Projects, a contemporary art gallery and community hub in Little River, Miami, is pleased to present the exhibition “I Am Here” by world-acclaimed female artist Manal AlDowayan, hailing from Saudi Arabia. In the exhibition, featuring photography, installation and mixed media, AlDowayan explores what defines humans at the most granular level — our thoughts, bodies, personal histories, religious choices. While AlDowayan’s work was most recently on view at White Chapel Gallery in London, this will be the first comprehensive look at her work in the U.S.

Out of this World Art Exhibition at Studio18 – January 27th thru March 9th

Begin 2017 with an experience that promises to be out of this world! A Comic Book, Fantasy and Sci-Fi Art Exhibition, “Out of this World” will transport you to a world beyond the imagination at Studio 18 located in Pembroke Pines.

The exhibition will run from January 27th – March 9th, 2017. The Art Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Karen Peterson Dancers: Inclusive Dance Teen Talent Showcase “The Musical” – March 3rd

Miami teenagers with disabilities will get a chance to shine on stage at the annual inclusive dance talent showcase “The Musical” at Miami Senior High School auditorium on Friday, March 3rd, as the culmination of a twenty-week in-school residency by South Florida’s own Karen Peterson and Dancers.

Gary Nader Art Centre is proud to present an exhibition by Brazilian contemporary master Claudio Tozzi. The exhibition “Territorios” will feature Tozzi’s most recent work and will be on view from March 2nd through April 2nd at the Gary Nader Art Centre in Wynwood.
