Remote Miami – May 21st, 22nd, 28th thru June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th

Remote Miami is the latest installation of Remote X, a global, pedestrian-based live art experience and movement, where participants are challenged to rethink how the city around them is built and what it means to be ‘alive’ and human. As Heather, an artificial intelligence (AI) voice feeds them thought provoking ideas through noise-cancelling headphones, participants become more and more aware of their surroundings. Heather guides participants in real time where the city streets provide the set design while people passing by become the actors and the surrounding reality provides props. The experience begins at the city’s oldest cemetery located at 1800 NE Second Ave and ends at an undisclosed location in Miami’s downtown area.

Miami now joins other cosmopolitan cities across the globe such as Paris, Sao Paolo and Moscow in this fun, cerebral activity. The journey runs weekly on Saturdays until the end of June with more date options through summer.

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes as well as bring bottled water, sunglasses/hat, sunscreen, and an easily portable bag with straps.

Ticket Prices: $32 per person and $22 per student, with valid ID and can be purchased here.
