FemAle Brew Fest – South Florida’s First Ever Beer Festival – May 28th

Get ready for FemAle Brew Fest, South Florida’s first ever beer festival, celebrating women in the brewing industry on Memorial Day Weekend, March 28th in Fat Village Art District. Presented by Fem Collective, FemAle Brew Fest will host a large selection of Female run breweries plus various vendors, music and a selection of artisanal food pairings from local female run establishments. An event like any other, FemAle Brew Fest will feature only craft beer from breweries with a female head brewer, brewmaster or owned and operated. The event will be held at a warehouse in the popular Flagler Arts District and feature female DJ’s, bands and vendors.

VIP Tickets will be offered at a pre-sale price of $35 (ends 4/20), as regular admission rates are $40 and $50 at the door. VIP tickets will allow entrance to the event an hour prior to general public, commemorative glass, access to Brewster Talk, Seat at Food/Beer Pairing, unlimited sampling (limited to 100 people).

General Admission tickets will be offered at a pre-sale price of $25 (ends 4/20), with regular admission rates being $30 and $35 at the door with unlimited sampling and Designated Driver tickets will be offered at $10 and will allow entrance to the event, free water and a food voucher (no alcohol).

Trio Yoga at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens – May 28th

Vizcaya welcomes Trio Yoga for a new yoga series at the estate. Admission is limited to Vizcaya members and practitioners at Trio Yoga. Join Trio Yoga’s experienced instructors for a 60-minute, all-level vinyasa class. Classes are held in various locations throughout Vizcaya, including the Garden Mound, South Terrace, Boat Landing, and other evocative locations through the estate. Guests are welcome to send the rest of the day exploring the gardens and Main House following the class. Come breathe, stretch, and meditate over Vizcaya.

4th Global LGBTQI Human Rights Conference – May 26th thru 29th

Thought leaders from around the globe will converge on Miami for the 4th Global LGBTQI Human Rights Conference, May 26 – 29, as part of World OutGames Miami 2017, the world’s largest 10-day Sports, Culture and Human Rights event. This well-orchestrated conference will offer a world view of human rights with representation from Brazil, Cuba, Canada, Miccosukee Reservation, St. Lucia, Thailand, Tonga, Uganda, the United Kingdom, the United States, Venezuela and others.

The three-day conference, which will be held at the Miami Beach Convention Center, will be a powerful gathering of internationally respected human rights activists, researchers, legal scholars and trade organizations, and will include more than 25 speakers. As many as 35 topics will be focused on three specific tracks: Promoting Inclusivity in Sports (LGB, Intersex, Trans*, Women), Health & Wellness (HIV, Disability, Sexuality, Body Politics, Human Trafficking) and Social Justice (Labor/Trade Unions, Religion, LGBTQI Criminalization, Workplace Issues).
