Matt Stone and Trey Parker, known for the explicit language and dark humor that parodies a wide range of topics and current events, brings the religious satire musical of two young Mormon missionaries that have been assigned to a small village in Uganda, Africa. As a brutal warlord threatens the local population, the two missionaries attempt to share the Book of Mormon and have trouble connecting to the local populace who are more concerned about AIDS, war, and poverty, than they are about religion.
