Benefiting the American Lung Association, the Las Olas Wine and Food Festival is definitely an event like no other! The street festival took place right on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale and offered a variety of delicious wines, food, entertainment, and much more!
The evening began with a Privé for exclusive ticket holders hosted by JM Lexus and the Historic Stranahan House Museum. The Privé offered light appetizers, wine, and tours of the famous Stranahan House also known as the Pioneer House, which was home to the founder of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Frank Stranahan. As you made your way to the entrance of the festival, you were offered a complimentary wine glass and a butler’s tray for endless samplings from over 70 of the best local restaurants in the Broward county area that also included 45 tables of select wines and micro brews.
The festival had it all! Fresh mozzarella from Mancini Modern Italian restaurant, seasoned clams from Timpano Italian Chophouse, fresh prosciutto and French Bread from the French Quarter Restaurant, Fried Oysters from Wild Sea Oyster Bar & Grille, ribeye steak from Shula’s on the Beach, fine cheeses from Cheese Culture, Penne Pasta from Caffe Europa, sushi from SAIA Sushi Asian Grill to divine desserts offered by Gozen Yogurt, Five Sisters Bakery, Agape Cakes, Elite Cake Creations, and so much more! Wine selections varied from Gallo California, Folio Fine Wine, Vintus, Precept Brands, Rombeur, and Majestic Fine Wine to name a few. Live entertainment included a fantastic Culinary Couture Fashion Show by the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, and live music by Pan Vibes, Weedline Band, and DJ Carlos.
