Professional Arts Workshop: An Artistic Hands-On Collaboration at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens – June 9th thru 15th

In celebration of the museum’s centennial, Processional Arts Workshop (PAW) returns for the second year to create an immersive performance retelling the story of the Vizcaya Village and you can be part of it! Join this collaborative artistic experience by participating in workshops where locals of all ages will work together to create illuminated lanterns to be used in a site-specific performance. Free and open to the public, these workshops sample different tasks or techniques on any given day, so participants may sign up for as few or as many sessions as they please.

Friday, June 9, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 10, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 10, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 11, noon – 4:00 p.m.
Monday, June 12 – Thursday, June 15, 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Monday, June 12 – Thursday, June 15, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Workshops are free to the public and open to both children and adults. The workshops are geared towards adults and teens, though we welcome children 8 and up who are working with an adult. Each workshop has a maximum capacity of 25 participants, so registration is mandatory via Eventbrite. Participation in the site-specific performance on June 17 is not a requirement for workshop registration.
