The Pantry of Broward dedicates itself to assisting those facing hard and troubled times. The initiative of the Pantry of Broward assists senior citizens and grandparents raising their grandchildren by providing over 20,000 pounds of food each month.
The Pantry of Broward and the BigMouthGirlz are asking the local community to pitch in and re-stock the food bank’s shelves during the summer when the Pantry’s shelves diminish.
We are asking all local families, businesses, churches, and schools to donate non-perishable items like canned foods (meats, vegetables, and fruits), rice, beans, and pasta to assist these families in times of need. Hundreds of families benefit from this program every month. Join the Pantry of Broward and the BigMouthGirlz and help make a difference.
Drop off locations for collected non-perishable foods are:
Best Rental Service, at 900 NE 13 Street, Fort Lauderdale
Cross Stitch Cupboard at 1600 NE 26 Street, Fort Lauderdale
USA Self-Storage at 1217 SW 1st Avenue, Fort Lauderdale.
The Pantry can arrange to pick up sizeable donations of food items.
