Woodystock 2014

The CFH Group and the Woody Foundation are proud to announce, and are set to kick off the 2nd Annual Woodystock benefit concert! Woodystock is a grassroots free benefit concert for music and art lovers, and created to raise money for the recovery of people with spinal cord injuries. The name of the event and foundation is in honor of James “Woody” Beckham, who suffered his spinal cord injury while making a rugby tackle in January 2011.

Proceeds of Woodystock will benefit The Woody Foundation. The main initiative of the foundation is the Woody Pack backpacks. The Woody Pack is a free collection of assistive devices for those who have suffered a spinal cord injury, or are living with paralysis. The backpacks were put together to assist in regaining a sense of independence. The devices included within the Woody Packs helps improve everyday living with items that aid in simple tasks like eating or talking on the phone that are not otherwise covered by insurance.
